Solemnly organize the Vesak, Buddha Calendar 2562

Inthe morning of May 29th, at Bao Lam Pagoda (Tuy Hoa city), themanaging committee of the Buddha Association of the province solemnly organizedthe Vesak, Buddha Calendar 2562.

After the rituals of singingthe National Anthemn, religious anthem, and declaring the ceremony reasons,Monk Thich Tam Thuy, member of the council of proving of the central board ofmanaging, Vietnam Buddha Association read the message of Vietnam Buddha Head;monk Thich Dong Tien, head of the interim managing committee of the provincialBuddha association, delivered the speech of Vesak, Buddha Calendar 2562 of Monkcum Chairman of Vietnam Buddha Association.

The content of the messageshowed the cheerful atmosphere of welcoming the Khanh Dan Anniversary of  GautamaBuddha and reviewed the history, the religious values of Buddhism and assertedthe doctrine of Gautama Buddha with the constant meanings with millions ofpeople all over the world, the path of understanding of his that shines for usto come to the forever happiness and joy…On this occasion, Comrade Nguyen QuocHoan also read the congratulation letter of the President of Vietnam NationalFather Front.

Addressing at the ceremony,comrade Phan Dinh Phung congratulated the entire group of monks, believers,Buddhists an entirely happy Vesak season with safety, happiness in theReligion. Simultaneously, comrade Phung acknowledged and highly appreciated thepositive contributions of the clergies, the entire believers, Buddhists intothe province’s development in the past time. Comrade Phung suggested theclergies, Buddhists and believers continue developing the spirit of solidarity,closeness within the nation, the good traditions of Vietnam Buddhism in the newperiod, positively responding and taking part in the patriotic movements, themobilization of “the entire population being united to construct new ruralareas, urban civilization…”.

Concluding the ceremony, thedelegates, clergies, Buddhist monks and nuns and the entire Buddhists to takepart in offering flowers, incense sticks and chanted, conducted the rituals ofreleasing flying bamboos to wish a peaceful world where everyone would live andwork in peace….
