NA deputies to continue discussing CPTPP ratification on Nov. 5

NationalAssembly deputies will discuss the ratification of the Comprehensive andProgressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and relateddocuments on November 5 morning as part of their ongoing sixth session.

The deputies debated in groupson the matter on November 2.

The same day, the deputieswill listen to a report on the pilot implementation of Resolution No.30/2016/QH14 on the issuance of e-visa for foreigners to enter Vietnam beforediscussing the extension of the measure.

In the afternoon, they willgive ideas on a number of contents of the draft Law on Vietnam Coast Guard,which comprises of eight chapters and 48 articles. 

They will focus on the use ofweapons, supporting tools, explosives and professional technical vehicles andequipment; the scope of activities of Vietnam Coast Guard in Vietnamese waters;and the operational coordination of Vietnam Coast Guard.
