US President appreciates development of Vietnam-US ties

USPresident Donald Trump appreciated steps of development in the US-VietnamComprehensive Partnership when receiving a letter of credentials handed over byVietnamese Ambassador Ha Kim Ngoc on September 17.

Welcoming the diplomat,Trump wished him a successful working tenure.

The US President took thisoccasion to thank the warm welcome to him by the Vietnamese State and peopleduring his visit to Vietnam and attendance at the Asia-Pacific EconomicCooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Meeting in November 2017, and extend his greetingsto Vietnam’s leaders and people.

Ambassador Ngoc alsoconveyed the greetings by Vietnamese senior leaders to the US leader.

He said that the Vietnam-USComprehensive Partnership is developing strongly and dynamically more thanever, driven by mutual understanding and effective cooperation in numerousfields, at both bilateral and multilateral levels.

He affirmed Vietnam is willingto work with the US to boost win-win cooperation, for the interests of the twopeoples, and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the regionand the world.
