State leader offers incense to President Ho Chi Minh

PresidentTran Dai Quang and ​overseas Vietnamese representatives offered incense tocommemorate late President Ho Chi Minh at House 67 in the presidentialhistorical relic site in Hanoi on February 7.

The activity took place onthe occasion of the 88th founding anniversary of the Communist Partyof Vietnam (February 3) and the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday whichfalls on February 16. 

Leaders from ministries,departments and Hanoi capital attended the event.

President Quang and theVietnamese expatriates who returned home to participate in the annual “Xuan QueHuong” (Homeland Spring) 2018 then released carps into the Uncle Ho’s fish pondin observing the traditional Kitchen God Day ahead of the Lunar New Year.

The same day, PresidentQuang and ​the overseas Vietnamese delegates also offered incense to theancestors who shed their blood to defend the country at the Kinh Thien Palacein the imperial citadel of Thang Long.
