The peace in the fishing village of My Quang Nam

For many generations, the inhabitants of My Quang Nam fishing village (An Chan commune, Tuy An district) have been attached to the sea occupation. The entire hamlet has 729 households, most of whom work in the sector of seafood exploiting and other jobs, services related to the sea, with 270 vessels, and 15 of which join in offshore exploitation. The shoreline aqua-culture resources bring about the main income sources to the local fishermen here.

Recently, lots of tourists coming to My Quang Nam fishing village have rented the fishermen’s boats to travel to Chua islet. In the afternoon, when facing with the strong current, the entire shore emerges and the boats are like getting stranded onto the coral reefs with green mosses densely covering.
