Awaken the start-up spirit among the community

Withthe aim of raising the start-up spirit among the community in Phu Yen province,the Management Board of the project "Supporting the policy formulation ofinnovating and developing business incubators - BIPP" in coordination withthe Department Science and Technology, the Incubator Center of Technology andScience - Technology Enterprise (Institute of Technology Application, Ministryof Science and Technology) has recently organized a workshop to support thedevelopment of innovative ecology in Phu Yen province.

During the last few years, thestart-up has been a major theme in the business community. In anywhere, peopletalk about startup, entrepreneurial spirit, however, the reality is that thestartup movement is very exciting, but only a short time, then failing.

In order to successfully builda start-up eco-system in Phu Yen province in the future, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan,Chairman of the Board of Directors of CiT EDU High Quality Human ResourceDevelopment JSC, an expert of top thinking trainer in Vietnam, let known: "Not justexhorting, doing the media, organizing the event is enough. In fact, a developedstart-up eco-system is the place where many startups and entrepreneurs startout. And to create an effective start-up environment, the state and everycitizen must be aware that the private economic sector is a driving force forsocial development, a place that creates new values, creates jobs, creates prosperityfor the society, the office workers cannot create these values.

Phu Yen province has had nearly1 million people with about 30 ethnic groups living together, the naturalcondition is pristine but more potential. Therefore, to become a startupprovince, according to experts, the most important thing is to improve thestart-up index. At present, the province only focuses on communication but notthe startup spirit in the community.

In Phu Yen province,innovative and creative start-up ecosystem was only formed in the early stage,so in the coming time, the province need to focus on implementing a series ofsolutions to help develop innovative and creative start-up ecosystem, such as:promoting the knowledge dissemination about start-ups and start-up ecosystems;integrated training of start-up knowledge into subjects in university;organizing nursery programs or start-up accelerating programs; creating acommon working environment for businesses to share and learn from each other;developing concrete action programs and connecting organizations, promotingsocial consensus and common resources for innovative and creative start-ups.

In order to contribute tobuilding a start-up ecosystem, fostering entrepreneurship among young people inPhu Yen province, Mr. Ngo Da Tho, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association,promised to support for weak start-up projects lack of experiences anddifficult to call investment capital.

"As the Chairman of theProvincial Business Association and a person with many years of experience inthe market, I would like to ask my assistants to help young people with ideas,aspirations but lack of market experience; complete the project so that whenthe project reaching the investors will be more feasible and more accessible tothe capital. In the future, as the incubator facilities grow, young people willsend projects to this address so that they can be professionally consulted andhave access to more diverse sources," Mr. Ngo Da Tho shared.
