Both enterprises and consumers need to respond strongly

Thecampaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products" haschanged people's perceptions, creating good effects in society; however, to bemore effective, it needs to be agreed and responded by enterprises, producersand consumers.

After many years ofimplementation, the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize usingVietnamese goods" has been widely known and increasingly raising awarenessin selecting, consuming Vietnamese goods. 

According to Mrs. Nguyen ThiLach, chairwoman of the Women's Union in BinhKien commune, Tuy Hoa city: Nowadays, the goods sold in the market are veryrich in design and types, which can satisfy all needs of consumers. Housewivesare smarter in consumption to choose quality products domestically.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Bich,deputy director of the Department of Industry and Trade, let known: Every year,the Department of Industry and Trade has implemented policies to stabilizeprices in the market, boosted bringing Vietnamese goods to rural areas andsetting up many convenient shops in rural areas; strengthened managing the marketgradually into the order... so there is no shortage of goods, causing highprice. As a result, retail sales of goods and social-service turnover in thefollowing year has increased more than the previous year.

According to the ProvincialSteering Committee of the Campaign, apart from the results, some units stillhave not really been interested in propagating, therefore, promoting Vietnamesegoods in the locality has not been paid attention. The situation of badquality, counterfeit goods... has still existed in the market, affecting theconsumer; typically, fake coffee...

According to the ProvincialConsumer’s Right Protection Association, to keep on changing people's awarenesson consuming Vietnamese goods, it is necessary to organize well-implementing thecampaign among all levels, sectors, organizations, agencies, enterprises andpeople. Branches and localities need to promote more propaganda so that theycan make the campaign truly practical and effective, creating a good responsefrom the people.

Mrs. Pham Thi Tuong Lai,Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Business Association, lets known: With itsrole and responsibility, the association will continue to mobilize enterprisesand entrepreneurs to strictly observe the laws on production, business and towardsprotecting the consumers’ health; at the same time, coordinating withfunctional agencies to organize seminars on producing and protecting consumers'interests and persuading enterprises to participate in raising enterprises’ responsibilitywith their manufactured goods.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, DeputyDirector of the Provincial Standing Committee of the Campaign, said that: Inthe coming time, the enterprises in the province must take advantage of theinternational integration conditions to expand the market and promote the brandname. Apart from the Provincial People's Committee and functional branches havingtaken measures to thoroughly solve the situation of counterfeit goods andimitation goods floating on the market, the enterprises need to invest andrenovate equipment, technology, production line, which can help the businessesimprove the goods’ quality, models, lower the price of products to increasecompetitiveness, promote products to expand the market.

The campaign board of"Vietnamese people prioritize to use Vietnamese goods" at districtlevel, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations... need to furtherpromote their roles in both monitoring and combating trade frauds, faked goods,poor quality goods.
