Approving the strategy on marketing Phu Yen tourism

The Department ofculture-sports-tourism has organized to announce the PPC’s decision onapproving the strategy on marketing Phu Yen tourism to the year 2025 andorientations to the year 2030.

Phu Yen possesses the plentiful natural resources and humanity.In the past years, the province’s tourism has shown positive shifts. However,the task of promoting, promoting tourism has not been invested, neither has theefficiency been high, the task of doing market research has not been active tolay the foundations for developing tourism products, constructing anddeveloping the brand names…

The marketing strategy for developing Phu Yen tourism to theyear 2025 and orientations to the year 2030 has set the targets of : locatingthe brand name of Phu Yen tourism of being “an attractive and friendlydestination” based on the advantages and natural resources in sea and islands,bays, lagoons, cuisine and culture…

Via the marketing activities in order to attract investmentwith concentration under scheming to create the breakthroughs for fast andsustainable development. Developing the strengths of being the “gateway”linking the North and South and the new gateway heading to the East Seaand the central highland provinces to enhance cooperation in tourismdevelopment with the localities nationwide…

The strategy also points out the short term, mid term andlong term targets and tasks, orientations to construct the tourism products,markers and factors to identify the tourism brand names, proposing solutionsincluding finance, assigning the tasks to the province’s units and localitiesfor the efficient implementation.
