Yen island group is recognized as the national relic site

Accordingto the Department of Cultural Heritage (the Ministry of Culture, Sports andTourism- MOCST), along with 22 other relics in the country, the scenic Yenisland group (in An Hoa commune, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province) has justbeen recognized as the national relic site by the MOCST. The MOCST requests thePeople's Committees of all levels where there are these relics to take thestate management of relics according to the law on cultural heritage accordingto their tasks and powers.

Yen island group comprises Yenisland, Dun islet (Sat islet), Ban Than, Yen cliff, Choi Islet and Choi beachwhich form a natural beauty spot on the coast. In particular, Yen island is thehighlight of this scenic group. According to Phu Yen Department of Culture,Sports and Tourism, this landscape has huge natural value of geology, flora andfauna, biodiversity; cultural and historical values;  potentiality to develop attractive coastaltourism.
