Welcoming 19,000 tourists during the National holiday

During the National Day holiday and weekend (from 2nd to 4th of September), Phu Yen tourism is estimated to welcome about 9,000 domestic and international tourists, an increase of 19% against the same period in 2016. In particular, accommodations are estimated to welcome 10.858 tourist turns (an increase of 17.2% against the same period in 2016).

Hotels of from 2 to 5 stars are almost fully booked from the 2nd to 4th of September, mainly by domestic tourists. In addition to popular destinations, tourists, especially local ones have chosen new destinations for picnics, exploring and conquering on this occasion.

At the two destinations with fee of Da Dia Reef and Mon Beach-Dien Cape, the number of tourists during this occasion also increased against the same period last year. Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Deputy Head of Phu Yen Historical Relics Management Board (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism), lets known that in 3 days (from 2nd to 4th of September) there are 8.500 tourist turns (not including local people and priority beneficiaries who are free). On September 2nd, Da Dia Reef welcomed 3.100 tourist turns.

According to the Tourism Division (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism), tourism businesses have focused on the activities of serving customers during the National Day holiday, preparing essential conditions to ensure business in holidays, posting prices at public, making prices of services and goods stable.... Tourist destinations well observe regulations of security, order and environmental hygiene, ensuring safety for tourists.
