Approving the master plan for development of Xuan Dai Bay national tourism zone

DeputyPrime Minister Vu Duc Dam has just signed the Decision No.2127/QD-TTg approvingthe master plan for the development of Xuan Dai Bay national tourism zone (Phu Yen) to2030 on the basis of proposal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Accordingly, Xuan Dai Bay nationaltourism zone (NTZ)  is bounded by XuanThinh peninsular in the North, the sea in the East, from Ganh Do area (Xuan Daiward) to Xuan Yen ward with the national highway 1 as the boundary in the west;a part of Tuy An district adjacent to Song Cau town (including communes of AnNinh Dong and An Ninh Tay with the coastal road as the boundary) in the south. Thetotal core area of the NTZ is 1.200 hectares (excluding water area).

The plan targets that Xuan Dai Bay basically meets the criteria and becomes the NTZby 2025; becoming   a tourist resortcenter of the province and the SouthCentral Coastby 2030. The master plan for the development of Xuan Dai Bay NTZ to 2030clearly shows specific objectives, orientations for developing tourismproducts, major tourist market, development space, investment orientation and solutionsto implement the plan, etc. 

The Decision assigns theMinistry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to assume the prime responsibility andcoordinate with Phu Yen PPC to announce the plan and guide theimplementation; coordinating with the Ministry of Planning and Investment andthe State Bank of Vietnam to support Phu Yen PPC in socializing tourisminvestment and calling for investment in Xuan Dai Bay NTZ. According tofunctions and assigned tasks, related ministries, sectors and Phu Yen PPC assumethe prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture,Sports and Tourism as well as related agencies to implement the plan. TheDecision has become effective since December 29th, 2017.
